About the Santa Clara Church of Christ

We are a group of Christians that strive to worship God the same way the first Christians did...

We are a group of Christians that strive to worship God the same way the first Christians did, and in that way continue the unity that Jesus prayed for. And there are other groups like us, across the United States and all around the world. We have no central organization – but we have a common cause: to be the church as it was when first instituted by Jesus in the first century. The Bible teaches us that our practices and teachings must be by the authority of Christ.

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”
Colossians 3:17

Therefore, we rely only on God’s written word as the authority for how we worship Him. You can be simply a Christian, a follower of Christ, without being a member of any man-made denomination.

Elders

“An overseer must be above reproach as God’s steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, that he may be able to both exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict”
Titus 1:7-9
